Bomke’s Patch has been working since 2002 to make the season memorable for families all across the area. Even from the beginning, Christmas trees have been the primary focus of this family farm. They spend most of the year tending to the trees to keep them lush and healthy for the time Christmas rolls around. While their original operation only featured 100 trees, today, they’ve got a pretty impressive selection with over 13,000 trees across 12 acres. They also have a 2-acre plot of land they reserve for pumpkins and gourds.
With their Christmas trees, you can either select from the pre-cut trees or you can head out into the fields and find one for yourself. The U-Pick trees are priced per half-foot and will be bagged by the farm. They offer additional options such as wreaths and roping.

Following Thanksgiving each year, Pine Creek Tree Farm opens up their doors to families all across Central Illinois. This family-owned farm is nestled between Springfield and Decatur, giving you a dreamy little destination during the holiday seasons. This farm treats the holidays like their own Super Bowl, tending to the trees and readying the land before it’s time to open up to the public. Each tree grows for about 6-8 years before it’s ready for its new home in your living room.
Pine Creek Tree Farm has gained a loyal following because of their gorgeous products. As you walk through the rows of firs, you are going to see perfectly healthy and thick options that will shine in your home. Cassens’ Christmas Trees and Crafts is a family-owned spot right on the outskirts of town. They give you the chance to pick out your tree before the holiday season begins, opening up their doors in the early fall. During this time, you can come out with your family and pre-tag your tree so you can have first dibs once the holiday season rolls around. Whenever it’s actually time to come and pick up your selection, you will have options such as shaking, baling, and tree drilling. The farm has straightforward prices based on the height of your tree. You will be able to shop for White Pine and Scotch Pine trees, and you can add a tree bag or skirt.

Dick and Judy Engdale have always been pretty passionate when it comes to Christmas trees. Before their family farm became the community favorite it is today, the pair were driving around town and selling trees out of the trunks of their car. They got started in 1991, and from there, things really started to take off. Today, they offer over 16 acres full of trees you can pick from.
With this farm, the key is to try to get here early. People tend to start lining up outside their doors at least a half hour before the farm opens up. They attract families from all across the Midwest, offering both exceptional products as well as an unforgettable experience. With this tree farm, you can pick from Scotch and White Pines as well as Fraser Firs.

Kirk Rawlins works all across the Midwest helping people find their perfect trees. He first started his operation in Pittsfield, Illinois back in 1987. Before long, people from all across the area were demanding his trees, and he knew it was time to expand. Today, he owns property in Westfield, Wisconsin, and Beardstown, and grows thousands of trees that will brighten up your house. When you head to the farm, you can wander across the rows of the choose-and-cut trees until you find the perfect one. You can choose from Scotch Pine, White Pine, and Norway Spruce. If you don’t mind a pre-cut tree, they also have Balsam and Fraser Firs that they have picked out from their Wisconsin farms.
