Here Together Birth is owned and operated by Victoria Baez, or Toria, for short. She has been practicing yoga since she was a teenager and continues to see it as a way to stay grounded in even the most difficult of seasons. She adores working alongside expectant moms to show them how they can create a practice that nourishes their bodies throughout every season. When she’s not busy leading yoga sessions, she creates artwork that celebrates and supports new parents. As a mother herself, she understands this journey and wants to help you however she can!
Services
Here Together Birth is a certified doula and yoga instructor who currently offers yoga classes around Champaign. She sees the practice as a way to treat your body while also creating a community that will be there long after your baby arrives. She offers small-group sessions that encourage discussion. In order to join a pod, you will start out by sending her an email. Once she has at least four students, you will be able to move forward with booking your class. Typically, sessions will have between four and seven students.
She offers sessions at Pure Being, located in Urbana. Yogis of all levels are welcome to join along, but she does require you to be out of your first trimester. Each session will last around an hour, and the classes will run for six weeks at a time. She encourages you to arrive at least 10 minutes early so you can find a space and grab some props before settling in. In an effort to make these classes available to all, she does offer a sliding payment scale.
Specialty
Here Together Birth is constantly looking for brand new ways to aid parents. She offers birthwork services across the area, assisting with deliveries as a doula. I also adore her artwork!
